Abstrakt: Researchers at the Biotechnology Research Center in Constantine, Algeria have conducted a study on the potential antidiabetic properties of Thymoquinone (TQ), a compound with low solubility in water. The study focused on the impact of encapsulating TQ with PEG4000, a process known as PEGylation. The researchers found that PEGylation significantly enhanced the antidiabetic properties of TQ, improving insulin secretion and cell viability. The study highlights the effectiveness of TQ as an anti-diabetic agent and its ability to protect and regenerate cells. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology. [Extracted from the article]
