A recent study conducted by researchers from the University of Extremadura explores the relationship between depression and physical activity frequency in Spanish individuals with low, medium, and high pain levels. The study found that people with pain experience higher depressive symptoms and are more likely to be physically inactive. The researchers suggest that increasing physical activity frequency could help prevent or reduce depression and depressive symptoms in individuals with pain. This study provides valuable insights into the association between depression and physical activity in a specific population. [Extracted from the article] |
