The State Library of Queensland is currently hosting an exhibition called "Deaf in dance: feeling the beat" that celebrates the Deaf Indigenous Dance Group (DIDG). The exhibition, curated by Serene Fernando, showcases artworks, oral histories, portraits, and photography from the troupe's 27-year history. DIDG, co-founded by Patty Morris-Banjo and Priscilla Seden, provides a safe and social space for Deaf and hard-of-hearing First Nations people.
