This article explores recent advancements in dental post and core techniques aimed at optimizing both strength and aesthetics in restorative dentistry. Dental posts and cores play a critical role in providing structural support for severely damaged teeth, enabling the restoration of form and function. With ongoing innovations in materials and methodologies, practitioners now have a diverse array of options to enhance the longevity and esthetic appeal of dental restorations. This article reviews key considerations in selecting appropriate post and core materials, techniques for achieving optimal bond strength, and strategies for maximizing esthetic outcomes. By incorporating these advancements into clinical practice, dental professionals can effectively address the challenges associated with compromised tooth structure, ultimately improving patient satisfaction and long-term treatment success.
