The article describes a rare event where a mating pair of Green Sea Turtles (C. mydas) became entangled in fishing line and washed ashore at Padre Island National Seashore, Texas. Topics include the nesting season of sea turtles, their vulnerability to entanglement and terrestrial threats, and the rehabilitation efforts for the entangled turtles. |
