Abstrakt:	Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar has called for the withdrawal of a planned bandh (strike) in Maharashtra following a ruling by the Bombay High Court. The bandh was organized by the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance to protest against the sexual assault of two four-year-old girls in a school in Badlapur. Pawar acknowledged the right to protest but emphasized the need to respect the judiciary.
