Abstrakt: Researchers at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University have conducted a study on the A1166C polymorphism of the angiotensin II type 1 receptor gene (AGTR1) and its relationship to arterial hypertension and adipokines. The study aimed to investigate the levels of serum adipokines depending on the AGTR1 A1166C polymorphism. Genetic factors were found to significantly contribute to the development and duration of arterial hypertension, and the relationship between heredity, hypertension development, and adipokines remains debatable. This research provides valuable insights into the genetic factors involved in hypertension and may contribute to future advancements in treatment and prevention. [Extracted from the article]
