Abstrakt:	This article provides information on the new British freshwater hoplonemertean, Prostoma jenningsi. P. jenningsi was first discovered from samples collected at a pond near Croston, Lancashire in July 1967. A description of the physical characteristics of P. jenningsi is presented in the article.
