The article discusses research which examined the correlation between circulating T follicular helper cell levels after infection and a decreased risk of COVID-19 re-infection. The study assessed factors associated with the risk of infection, measured anti-spike antibodies and neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, and analyzed different T cell populations in the single-infection and re-infection groups using intracellular cytokine staining and enzyme-linked immune absorbent spot assays. |
