The article discusses research which examined the seroprevalence of neutralizing antibodies against hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) associated enteroviruses among health individuals in Shanghain, China. The study observed different trends in the seroprevalence of four serotypes of coxsackieviruses in different age groups. It analyzed the seroprevalence of protective and high-level neutralizing antibodies (NtAb) titers and the seroprotection rates of coxsackieviruses. |
