This article discusses the design and features of a custom kitchen that blends practical considerations with traditional Cape Cod style. The homeowner worked closely with GTM Architects to create a functional layout that opens into the dining and family rooms. The cabinetry was custom-made to maximize space, and the design incorporates elements such as a V-groove ceiling, a cozy breakfast nook, and brass and copper details. The overall aesthetic is inspired by classic Cape Cod style, with a palette pulled from an ivory Bertazzoni range and honed white marble countertops.
