This paper presents a comprehensive characterization of ramie fibre-reinforced vinyl ester resin composites incorporate silane-treated biosilica in aged conditions. The study primarily investigates the effects of surface-treated biosilica addition in composite and its significance in the aging condition. The biosilica is extracted from de-oiled cake of cashew nut husks via thermo-chemical process and silane surface treated subsequently. The composites were made using hand layup process and subjected to accelerated aging at 50oC for 180 days. According to results, the mechanical properties with the addition of ramie fibre and bio silica, alongside surface treatment maintained high stability even after the aging performed. A highest tensile strength, flexural strength, compression strength, Izod impact, hardness, and ILSS values of 138.25 MPa, 163.47 MPa, 16.18 MPa, 4.65 J, and 25.7 MPa were achieved for VRS2 in aged condition. Similarly the composite designation VRS2, improved fatigue life counts are observed as 28,792, 25,153, and 21,864 at 30%, 60%, and 90% of UTS, respectively. Moreover, the composite designation VRS2 produced a highest storage modulus of 5.8 GPa and a lower loss tangent of 0.45. Finally the scanning electron microscopy analysis visually confirms diverse failure mechanisms, however the silane treated composites performed well and not produced any adverse effect. These high performance composites could maintain the structural integrity and ability to transfer the load even in the aged conditions at elevated temperatures could be used in applications such as automotives, structural, aviation and defence where the materials are subjected to unprecedented weathers throughout their life time.
