Abstrakt: This article presents a systematic review and meta-analysis of the prevalence and association of psoriasis with seborrhoeic dermatitis. The study found that the overall rate of psoriasis in patients with seborrhoeic dermatitis is low (2.1%) and without a clear association. These findings contradict common clinical teaching and patient education that suggest an overlap between psoriasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis. The study highlights the need for further research on the clinical burden and underlying mechanisms of seborrhoeic dermatitis and comorbid inflammatory diseases. [Extracted from the article]
