A study conducted by the Bukhara State Medical Institute examined the effects of chronic alcoholism on the prostate gland. The research found that age-related changes in the prostate are uneven, with the greatest increase in size occurring during adolescence. In men suffering from chronic alcoholism, there was an increase in the size of the prostate gland. This study provides new data on the impact of alcoholism on the prostate and may be of interest to those researching addiction, adolescence, and alcohol-induced diseases.
