Researchers at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta have conducted a study to measure the validity and reliability of a self-stigma questionnaire in adolescent drug users in Indonesia. The study involved 59 teenage drug users who completed the Internalized Stigma Mental Illness (ISMI): Substance Abuse questionnaire. After eliminating one invalid statement, the researchers found that the ISMI is a valid and reliable instrument that can be used to assess and evaluate adolescent drug abusers in various settings.
