Abstrakt: Researchers from the University of Science and Technology of China have developed a wearable device called flexible adaptive sensing tonometry (FAST) that can continuously and accurately monitor hemodynamic parameters. The device integrates a highly sensitive and flexible iontronic sensing array with a closed-loop motion system, allowing for real-time predictions of intra-arterial blood pressure waves and multi-parametric hemodynamic analysis. Experimental validations on healthy volunteers have shown that the FAST measurements meet the required accuracy of clinical standards for pulse wave assessments, blood pressure monitoring, and other key hemodynamic parameter evaluations. The FAST system offers a medical-grade solution for remote patient-centered monitoring in a convenient and wearable manner. [Extracted from the article]
