Abstrakt:	A recent study conducted by researchers at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore focuses on medicinal chemistry and the development of a novel BCL2-specific inhibitor called Disarib. BCL2 is a protein that is overexpressed in several cancers and contributes to cell survival and chemoresistance. The researchers have successfully developed a scalable and practical method for the large-scale synthesis of Disarib, which has shown comparable efficacy to the FDA-approved BCL2 inhibitor Venetoclax in various in vitro and in vivo assays.
