Abstrakt:	A recent study conducted at the Cancer Hospital aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of hippocampal avoidance whole-brain radiotherapy with a simultaneous integrated boost (HA-WBRT-SIB) in treating brain metastases (BM) in Chinese lung cancer patients. The study also assessed the utility of the Hopkins Verbal Learning Test-Revised (HVLT-R) in measuring cognitive impairment. The results showed that HA-WBRT-SIB was efficient and cognitive-conserving in treating Chinese lung cancer BM. The study concluded that this treatment approach could be beneficial for patients.
