Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at the Faculty of Nursing in Seville, Spain compared the pain and effectiveness of two different methods of anesthetic block in the first toe. The study involved 564 subjects who were divided into four groups and subjected to different experimental conditions. The results showed that the anesthetic block using a carpule was less painful compared to the block using a syringe. However, the modified Frost's H technique was found to be more effective than the traditional technique. The researchers concluded that the anesthetic block with a carpule and the modified Frost's H technique is less painful and more effective. [Extracted from the article]
