A study conducted by researchers at the University of Craiova aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation following total hip arthroplasty (THA). The study assessed hip joint mobility parameters, such as abduction, extension, and flexion, at 2, 4, and 6 weeks post-surgery, coinciding with the recommended rehabilitation exercises. The researchers found that the rehabilitation exercises led to improvements in pain reduction, physical function, and joint stiffness post-THA. The study highlights the important role of physiotherapists in achieving positive outcomes for THA patients and improving their overall quality of life. [Extracted from the article] |
