The University of Copenhagen has released a report on the guidelines for the use of antimicrobial and probiotic treatment in dogs with acute diarrhea. The recommendations were developed by a multidisciplinary panel and incorporated input from veterinary practitioners and dog owners. The guidelines include four strong recommendations based on high certainty evidence and three conditional recommendations based on low certainty evidence. The report encourages national or regional guideline makers to use this evidence when drafting their own guidance documents. [Extracted from the article] |
