Abstrakt: A new report from Transilvania University in Romania examines the country's energy strategy in relation to the European Union's (EU) strategy during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. The EU's revised energy strategy, prompted by the regional conflict, focused on increasing energy independence and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Romania, as an EU member state, is committed to complying with these regulations and aims to become a regional energy provider while modernizing its energy infrastructure. The study concludes that the measures implemented by the EU and Romania have yielded visible effects in reducing energy consumption and increasing renewables. [Extracted from the article]
