Abstrakt: This paper is the summary of various research that were available on the mechanical as well as the corrosive properties of the high entropy alloy (HEA) when undergoes friction stir welding (FSW). Here we tried to explore the mechanical aspects of HEA before and after welding and the result found were in support of use of HEA. It was seen that most mechanical properties after FSW were close to the base metal (BM) and in some cases, microhardness seems to be greater than BM. Ductility was compromised and that was obvious. Coming to corrosion resistance of welded part, the rate of corrosion was found to be not so attractive but was good enough to explore with changing working parameters of the FSW. Changing the parameter such as transverse and rotational speed can help in changing the result. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
