Abstrakt: This article discusses a rare case of disseminated histoplasmosis in an immunocompetent girl. Histoplasmosis is a fungal infection that is endemic in certain regions of India. The girl presented with asymptomatic papules and nodules on her body, and further examination revealed the presence of the fungus in multiple locations. The diagnosis was confirmed through clinical, histopathological, and culture findings. The patient was treated with amphotericin B and oral itraconazole, and showed significant improvement. The article highlights the unique presentation and association of histoplasmosis in an immunocompetent individual and emphasizes the need for further research on the topic.
