Abstrakt: This article, published in the Romanian Journal of Oral Rehabilitation, compares dental anxiety and dental attendance frequency between dental students and students majoring in other fields. The study found that dental students had lower levels of dental anxiety compared to non-dental students. Dental students also attended dental care for periodical control more frequently than non-dental students. The most anxiety-provoking stimuli for both groups were painful or uncomfortable procedures, the cost of dental treatments, needles or injections, and having an unsympathetic dentist. Overall, the study suggests that dental students have lower levels of dental anxiety and higher dental attendance frequency compared to students majoring in other fields. [Extracted from the article]
