Abstrakt: This article discusses a rare presentation of verrucous linear porokeratosis with dermal amyloid deposits. Porokeratosis is a disorder of keratinization characterized by abnormal differentiation of keratinocytes. The clinical presentation of porokeratosis can vary, but histopathologically, all forms show a vertical column of parakeratosis known as the cornoid lamella. Linear porokeratosis is characterized by a linear arrangement of papules and plaques with an elevated peripheral rim. In this case, a 43-year-old woman presented with multiple hyperpigmented raised lesions on her right thigh, which gradually increased in number and size. The lesions were mainly asymptomatic but occasionally caused pruritus. Dermoscopy revealed irregularly pigmented areas with a double-marginated white border. Skin biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of verrucous linear porokeratosis with dermal amyloid deposits. The patient was treated with topical tretinoin cream and is being planned for complete excision. This case is unique due to the presentation of verrucous papules and plaques, which is not typical of porokeratosis, and the presence of amyloid deposits in the dermis. [Extracted from the article]
