Abstrakt: The purpose of this research is to conduct a comprehensive benchmarking analysis of the volunteering activities of educational institutions. This is achieved using a sophisticated web resource designed to provide detailed information about all educational institutions. The resource allows users to view the locations of these institutions on an interactive map, filter them according to various parameters, and sort by specialty, all facilitated by a convenient and intuitive search function. In addressing the main challenges within this subject area, a systematic approach was employed. This included observing user requests to understand their needs and preferences, conducting thorough analyses and comparisons of existing analogous platforms, and identifying best practices. The study results in an extensive review of the volunteer activities carried out by educational institutions within the information field. This includes a detailed consideration of the primary methods used in benchmarking analysis, focusing on evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the web resource. By examining these aspects, the research provides valuable insights into how educational institutions can enhance their volunteering programs and how the web resource can be optimized to better serve users’ needs. The study also delves into the technological underpinnings of the web resource, exploring the integration of mapping technologies and the implementation of advanced search algorithms that enable users to efficiently locate and assess educational institutions based on specific criteria. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of user experience design in creating a tool that not only provides valuable data but also ensures ease of use. The analysis offers recommendations for improving the web resource, suggesting enhancements that could lead to more effective dissemination of information about volunteering activities and greater engagement from educational institutions and potential volunteers alike. Overall, this research aims to contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of digital tools that support the promotion and organization of volunteering activities within the educational sector, fostering a more connected and active community.
