Abstrakt: | The article presents a case study of a 7-month-old boy diagnosed with disseminated Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) infection, a severe complication linked to severe combined immunodeficiency disease (SCID). It states that the child, exhibiting persistent fever, skin rash, and hepatomegaly, was diagnosed with a mycobacterial infection from the BCG vaccine and SCID via genetic testing, with improvement following antimycobacterial drugs and immunoglobulin therapy. |
