Abstrakt:	This article focuses on two ways the government can assist in answering questions around the heterogenous effects of the implementation of generative artificial intelligence (genAI) in the workplace, with an emphasis on whether genAI will complement or replace human work. The article discusses first the understanding of conditions in which genAI will impact occupations and then applying this knowledge to the development of labor policies to support workers.
