Abstrakt: The article discusses a case of Twiddler's syndrome in a patient with a history of heart failure who had undergone implantation of the Barostim NEO device. The Barostim NEO device provides baroreflex activation therapy for advanced heart failure patients by simulating the carotid baroreceptors through electrical pulses. Twiddler's syndrome is a known complication of implantable devices, but it typically occurs early after implantation. However, in this case, the syndrome presented in a delayed manner. The article highlights the importance of being aware of potential complications associated with the Barostim device as its implantation rates increase. [Extracted from the article]
