Salt is a type of commodity that is a necessity for society because of its many uses. PT Budiono Madura Bangun Persada is a company that operates in the field of salt processing under the brand "Anak Pintar". Therefore, a strategy is needed to manage the production of salt raw materials well, namely through sales forecasting. This research aims to obtain an appropriate method for forecasting PT Budiono Madura Bangun Persada's salt sales to determine future production results. The data used is production data for 6 months, namely November 2020 – April 2021. The method used in this forecasting is Double Exponential Smoothing (DES). The research results show that the best alpha parameter (smoothing constant) of the Double Exponential Smoothing method is 0.5 and the MAD value is 71,216.49 and MSE is 188.15.
