P‐50: Multi‐depth‐SGD Based Tilted Plane Diffraction Propagation for Holographic Near‐eye Displays.

Abstrakt: To facilitate the practical application of wearable holographic near‐eye displays, the propagation between non‐parallel planes is essential for the hologram generation of off‐axis projection onto the holographic‐optical‐element (HOE) based combiners. However, existing methods, particularly the angular spectrum rotation‐based approach for generating tilted plane holograms, encounter challenges such as gradient loss when integrated with the stochastic gradient descent (SGD) algorithm. In this paper, we present a novel method for generating a tilted plane hologram using multi‐depth‐SGD, effectively mitigating the gradient loss issue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
