Abstrakt: |
LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) are mature non‐emissive display technologies. Both conventional LCoS and DLP use global illumination so that the whole display panel is illuminated regardless of the content. Therefore,it has challenges of high power consumption, low contrast ratio and so on. In this paper, we proposed a zonal illuminated LCoS and DLP systems, which greatly improve the contrast ratio and reduce the gray box artifacts.
