Abstrakt: Aims and objectives: We present our analysis in managing post lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) wound dehiscence presented in the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on the nutritional status mainly anemia and hypoproteinemia, wound organisms, and management strategies in our department. The objectives are to study the effect of perinatal anemia and hypoproteinemia contributing to abdominal wound dehiscence, time of presentation, and spectrum of microorganisms in the gaped wound.
