The article argues that the phrase "Bring them home" should be replaced with "Let them go" in reference to the Hamas hostage crisis. The author believes that the former phrase places undue responsibility on the Israeli government and IDF, while the latter places the burden on Hamas, the terrorist organization responsible for the hostages. The article suggests that using "Let them go" highlights the criminal nature of Hamas' actions and strengthens the moral and legal argument against them. It also argues that this shift in language can garner greater international support and pressure against Hamas, as well as undermine their propaganda efforts. The article concludes by emphasizing the need for justice, human rights, and the immediate release of the hostages. [Extracted from the article] |
