Abstrakt: The article presents the development and validation of a multidimensional scale called UP-Dial for measuring symptoms of chronic kidney disease-associated pruritus (CKD-aP) in Thai dialysis patients. The scale consists of three domains: signs and symptoms, sleep, and psychosocial aspects. The study included 553 adult end-stage kidney disease patients who met the criteria for CKD-aP and completed the measurement tools. The results showed that the scale had satisfactory validity and reliability. The authors suggest that UP-Dial can be used as a patient-reported outcome measure in future clinical trials.
