Abstrakt: A researcher from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo has published findings in the journal Drugs and Therapies regarding the use of a novel active, continuous irrigation and drainage system for patients with cerebral ventriculitis. The study involved a multicenter, international, retrospective analysis of 21 patients who received treatment with the IRRAflow system. The results showed that the use of active irrigation with drainage led to low mortality rates and significant clinical improvement in patients with ventriculitis. The researchers concluded that this treatment approach is technically feasible and safe for ventriculitis. [Extracted from the article]
