Abstrakt: This article discusses the issue of teachers and administrators feeling overwhelmed by the number of initiatives they are expected to implement in schools. The author describes how they conducted a survey in their school district to assess the current initiatives and their effectiveness. They found that there was a lack of understanding and consistency in the implementation of initiatives across different grade levels and buildings. To address this, they redefined the term "initiative" and developed a model to prioritize and evaluate the supports and programs being used. The article emphasizes the importance of conducting an initiative inventory to make informed decisions and maximize resources in education. [Extracted from the article]
