The article discusses semantically motivated verb classes in Kagayanen language which is a Western Austronesian language spoken in the central Philippines. Topics discussed include meteorological situations, situations involving speech or utterance and situations involving perception. Also discussed are situations of emotion, semantic roles in a situation of cognition and situations of needing and wanting. |
