Abstrakt: This article discusses Spectrum's innovative transformation of their selection processes for hiring employees in their retail stores. Prior to 2019, Spectrum stores primarily served as bill payment and equipment exchange locations, but with the launch of Spectrum Mobile, they became places to shop for new products and receive support for internet, mobile, and TV services. To adapt to this change, Spectrum needed a hiring program that could predict success in the new role and support efficiency in the recruiting process. They partnered with HireVue to implement a selection process that included a Fit Finder assessment, a Virtual Job Tryout, candidate self-scheduling of a virtual interview, and a video interview.
