The article discusses the latest developments related to various chapters of the Association for Computing Machinery in the U.S. Richard C. Burriss, chief of computer applications division, presented a discussion on "Computers in Meteorology," in the ACM Pikes Peak Chapter's meeting held in June 1965. Researcher Bruce A. Rosenblatt spoke on "What's in Back of the Unnamed Language," in the meeting of Orange County, California Chapter of the ACM in September 1965. An international student essay contest on the theme "Communicating With Computers" has been sponsored by the Special Interest Group on Programming Languages of the ACM Los Angeles Chapter. |
