To my understanding of the literature on this issue, the relation between conscious and unconscious state seems 'justifiable' due to the telescopic perception of our internal stimuli revealed in scholarly studies. These stimuli combine external components, creating mirages that communicate or repress vulnerabilities. Psychologically, unfulfilled unconscious needs may find comfort in Dreams, clouding perceptions of reality. Similarly, Gaslighting tends to deceive by temporarily simulating a familiar atmosphere, distorting reality. This study, therefore, aims to find similarities between the two distinctly different terms, 'dreaming' and 'gaslighting,' if there are any. Regardless of their marked disparities, commonalities might emerge, necessitating exploration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
