Religious education is a very important matter for every person who holds the title of Muslim in order to ensure welfare and guidance in living life. A perfect religious life can help and encourage a Muslim to always obey and comply with Allah's commands and always do good and leave evil deeds. Islamic religious education is provided comprehensively, including to the PWDs group, especially to the deaf group. This study also aims to see the perception of Islamic study students regarding the importance of religious education for the deaf and to what extent the students are prepared to deal with the deaf. The respondents involved consisted of 100 students taking Islamic study courses around Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. Data were obtained through a questionnaire form using a 5-point Likert scale as an instrument to obtain data. The findings of this study found that the level of knowledge, perception of the importance of religious education for deaf groups and students' preparation to deal with deaf groups were high. The findings of the study also provide guidance to the parties involved to further increase the provision of students to convey religious knowledge to the deaf by mastering sign language skills comprehensively [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
