A clinical trial has been launched to compare the effectiveness of nurse-led teleconsultation with usual care on psychological distress in patients with primary malignant tumors of the central nervous system. Participants will be randomized into two groups: one receiving usual care plus nurse teleconsultation for psychological support, and the other receiving usual care alone. The trial aims to reduce pre-treatment psychological distress, anxiety, and depression, improve understanding of the disease and treatments, and establish a climate of trust between patients and caregivers. The trial is currently recruiting participants and is expected to be completed by October 2026. [Extracted from the article] |
