A recent study conducted in Uttar Pradesh, India, explored the potential of quercetin nanoparticles in treating liver toxicity induced by ethion in Wistar albino rats. The study found that exposure to ethion resulted in adverse effects on organ weight, serum parameters, and liver histology. However, the administration of quercetin nanoparticles mitigated these effects, potentially through antioxidant activity and interaction with Cyp2E1. The research suggests that nanoquercetin could be a promising therapeutic supplement for managing pesticide intoxication. [Extracted from the article] |
