Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom has explored the use of a new type of nanoparticle for drug delivery. The researchers combined a hydrophilic polymer called PEGose with poly(lactic acid) (PLA) to create PEG-free nanoparticles. These nanoparticles were found to be stable, non-toxic, and capable of encapsulating and releasing both hydrophilic and hydrophobic substances. The study suggests that these PEGose-b-PLA nanoparticles have potential applications in drug delivery systems. The research was supported by the University of Glasgow European Research Council.
