Abstrakt: Researchers from the University of Gdansk in Poland have conducted a study on the Herpesvirus and its interaction with the transporter associated with antigen processing (TAP). The study found that the UL49.5 gene product of the Herpesvirus binds to TAP, inhibiting peptide transport and triggering its degradation. The researchers identified CLR2KLHDC3 as the E3 ligase responsible for the degradation of TAP. This research provides new insights into the mechanisms of immune evasion by viruses.
