The examines how the size of submicron zinc oxide particles impacts the ultraviolet (UV) protection properties of textiles, particularly cotton. It explores the relationship between particle size and the ability of textiles to block UV radiation, emphasizing that while smaller particle sizes can enhance UV protection within a specific range, there are optimal sizes that maximize this effect. |
