Abstrakt: Recognizing the need to use digital solutions to advance the green economy of R.N. Macedonian businesses, it is crucial to understand the impact of digital transformation on important business operations. This change is essential for increasing Macedonian businesses' competitiveness and productivity, which will strengthen the nation's economy. To achieve sustainable success, national and local governments must adopt core practices for our society, such as the establishment and promotion of support mechanisms for energy efficiency and digital transformation. By concentrating on companies operating in the designated areas, we may support the trend of intelligent specialization by carrying out localized private sector operations. This plan will also improve North Macedonia's ecosystem by fortifying the institutions' and the Fund for Innovations and Technological Development's (FITD) standing at the local and national levels. It will also present micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises as essential collaborators in the advancement of social, environmental, and economic objectives. Under the country's Integrated National Plan for Energy and Climate, all five parts of the Energy Union--decarbonization, energy efficiency, supply security, internal energy market, and research, innovation, and competitiveness--are comprehensively addressed. Notably, the country is aggressively supporting energy transition techniques and technologies, especially in the energy sector, as seen by its Strategy for Smart Specialization and emphasis on the frequent updating of energy-related curricula at all educational levels.
