A new tourist attraction has been created in Belle, Missouri with the construction of the world's largest cowbell. The cowbell, standing at 15 feet tall and weighing over 61,000 pounds, was built by Jim Zumwalt in front of an old feed mill. This cowbell surpasses the previous record held by Germany, which was 10 feet, 9 inches tall and weighed 2,028 pounds. The purpose of the cowbell is to bring more visitors to the small town and help stimulate its growth. Jim was inspired by a similar exhibit in Casey, Illinois and plans to create more "big things" for Belle in the future. [Extracted from the article] |
